August - September 2011 ESS Entrepreneurship Summer School

Google and ThinkYoung, together with the European Foundation for Management Development and the European Institute of Industrial Leadership organized the Entrepreneurship Summer School. No Professors or Teachers, only real Entrepreneurs with firsthand knowledge to pass on to participants were invited to discuss and share their knowledge in the form of interview sessions. Guided by the ThinkYoung team and Steven Price, the participants were divided into four teams to prepare questions for the interviews in the field of media, finances, resources and management. The division in four categories contributed to high quality questions which were also used in a conference at the European Parliament with MEP Lara Comi.

The aim was to give young people a voice to challenge speakers and the panel on their views and opinions to fill the blank space of creating a guide for young entrepreneurs on how to start up their own business. However, it was more than that: the speakers motivated by sharing their philosophies with the participants. These guiding principles will help young entrepreneurs to overcome their doubts about starting up their businesses. Sharing the knowledge is the best way to successfully starting up an own business, while THINKING YOUNG!
