This research on child online safety has aimed to shed light on the often misconceived relationship between the risks and opportunities faced by children and young people.
Taking into account the perspectives of both child protection advocates and advocates of freedom of information and expression, the preceding analysis focussed on the role of digital resilience in equipping children with the navigational tools required to stay safe when online, while also maximising the opportunities the internet provides.
